NHL World Reacts Tom Wilson’s Impending Suspension After Latest Dirty Hit

Washington Capitals winger Tom Wilson has developed quite the reputation as a guy who will lay a dirty hit on his opponents. On Friday, Wilson was at it again with the BS.

Tom Wilson directly hit Boston Bruins defenseman Brandon Carlo in the head.

After Tom Wilson’s hit, Carlo had to spend the night in the hospital.

Cassidy said he didn't know whether Carlo is staying overnight at the hospital. On whether it was a concussion: “You can probably make your own call on that one, considering the hit was directly to his head.”

In the latest developments, Tom Wilson has been offered an in-person hearing by the NHL. By offering Wilson the in-person hearing, the NHL can hit him with a suspension of five games or more.
