Want Quads Like Saquon Barkley? All It Takes Is 585 Pound Squats (And Probably Many Other Things You’d Die Doing)

It’s a tough time out there for fitness for most of us. Gyms are likely to be closed longer than any other businesses that reopen. Pelotons are expensive and sold out even if you want to make that big splurge. Even for people who have the equipment, the motivation may not be there quite as much wiith the current world situation.

So have no fear since Saquon Barkley is here to, quite literally, lift weights on behalf of all of us. To the point that he actually might be lifting all of our personal squats at reps combined.

Six 45 pound plates on each side = 12 plates total + one 45 pound bar = 585 pounds of steel.

I guess you can’t be surprised when you see those tree trunks of Saquon’s:

ESPN’s Body Issue got those quads fully unsheathed if you need more proof. Either way, at least we now know part of his secret. All it takes is lifting roughly three full-sized adult males worth of weights.

PS Who’s had the more impressive offseason: Saquon lifting the equivalent of a Smart Car or Christian McCaffrey dressing like he’s about to tell Pony Boy to “Stay golden” for his girlfriend’s Instagram?

Saquon stock UP! McCaffrey stock DOWN! Run CMC better have a video ready of him dragging a bus like some Swedish strong man if he wants to get back ahead of Saquon.
