Vanessa Bryant is carrying on her husband’s legacy. Kobe Bryant’s Granity studios is releasing the last book of his Epoca series today called “Epoca: The River of Sand” and Vanessa did a video conference interview with the co-author Ivy Claire. Vanessa started working with the co-author Ivy Claire to help finish the book. She gave the author tips and guidance on what Kobe would and wouldn’t want in the book.
The author and Vanessa said a character in the book called Vera reminds them of Gigi.

Diversity was important to both Vanessa and Kobe in the book.
The author said Kobe had her re-write some characters to look more like his daughters. She said there wasn’t enough books with black and brown characters kids could look up to.
Pretty cool to see Vanessa so involved, and taking care of business.
