UFC Fighter Derrick Lewis Knocked Out Car Thief Trying To Break Into His Car

When you’re an MMA fighter, you don’t always need a car alarm. This week the UFC heavyweight contender posted a video on Instagram in which he apparently he stopped an alleged car thief, who was later apprehended by Houston police.

“Mofo pick right/wrong car to break into,” Lewis wrote. “HE’S OK.”

Lewis told police he was returning to his car after a workout and heard noises coming from the driver’s side of the car. He then discovered the alleged thief, who was trying to get into his vehicle using a screwdriver.

Derrick Lewis tells me he noticed a man trying to break into his SUV this morning. He knocked the man out. The police then apprehended him.

The MMA badass also shared a picture that shows both the suspect and the attending officers, Lewis also showed off the damage done to his car and added some commentary.

“Motherf*cker tried to break into my sh*t,” Lewis said.

He also shared an image to his Instagram story of his fist and a caption that reads, “Satisfaction” and “He’s ok” again.

This dude picked the wrong car.
