Tom Brady’s Family Left The House For 12 Days So He Could Prepare For The Super Bowl

Tom Brady must have the best family in the world.

With Super Bowl LV being held in Tampa Bay (where Brady plays his home game), Tom has been able to stay in his mansion for the whole time. Must be convenient. What wasn’t convenient was having the wife and kids around while he was trying to prepare for the big game.

Therefore, Tom Brady’s family up and left so he could really zone in on his own.

“My family won’t get back in town until Saturday,” he said, via Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times. “I really had an empty house for what will be 12 days leading up to the game. That’s the most time I’ve had to really focus on what I need to do from a football standpoint.”

Brady went on to talk about the convenience of playing the Super Bowl in his home stadium.

“I have time to get my body right,” Brady said. “There’s been no travel for our team. It’s a home game. That’s very different. We’re staying at our own home. That’s very different. You don’t have to eat hotel food for a week, that’s very different. The stadium will be, I don’t know, 25,000 people. That will be different.”

“I don’t have any perspective on this one,” he continued. “Because it’s the first time we’ve had a chance to do the things that we’re doing.”

Tom Brady is gunning for his seventh Super Bowl win this weekend. This time, Brady is the underdog against Patrick Mahomes and the high-powered Chiefs. I’m still not sure I’d ever bet against the GOAT, though. Especially when he’s been playing with a chip on his shoulder all year long.

This Super Bowl means something a little more to Tom Brady. It seems like his family understands that.
