Tom Brady Throws Some Savage Shade At Ohio State Quarterbacks When Speaking About The Matchup Against Justin Fields

If it wasn’t enough for Bears fans to have Aaron Rodgers trash their entire organization while beating them last week, Tom Brady is adding some insult to injury.

Tom Brady, a proud Michigan grad, was asked about going up against young quarterback Justin Fields this week, when he openly pondered why there weren’t very many Buckeyes quarterbacks around the NFL.

“That’s interesting,” Brady mused, with a sly smile. “Why aren’t there a lot of Ohio State quarterbacks in the pros? Lot of Michigan guys over the years but not a lot of Ohio State guys.”

Since Tom Brady entered the league in 200, only 45 games have been started by former Ohio State quarterbacks. In contrast, Michigan QBs (Brady excluded), have played  in 164 NFL games.

Justin Fields is hoping to change the narrative surrounding Ohio State quarterbacks. And he’s definitely the school’s best chance at having a successful NFL quarterback in recent years. Despite an up-and-down first few starts to his NFL career, the 11th pick in last year’s draft has pumped some life into the Bears franchise.

Tom Brady will likely get the best of Justin Fields on Sunday. And the tradition of Michigan quarterbacks getting the last laugh against Ohio State should continue for another game. But in time, Fields will look to turn the tide.
