Tom Brady Sheds Some Light On When He Might Retire

Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady has showed very few signs of slowing down at 43-years of age.

The G.O.A.T has also remained relatively quiet when asked when he may consider hanging it up. But on Friday, Brady gave a small indication on what his mindset might be when it comes to his retirement.

Tom Brady was asked if he was looking to play until he was 50, and even he had to acknowledge that it was a bit of a stretch.

“50? That’s a long time,” Brady said via TMZ. “Even for me, that’s a long time.”

Tom Brady then revealed that he has had the age 45 in mind for a little while. And he has a two-year deal with the Bucs.

“I’ve always said 45 was the age that I wanted to reach and that was my goal. This year I’ll be 44, so next year I’ll be 45. I got a two-year contract.”

So maybe, after these next two seasons are over Tom Brady will consider walking away from the game he has dominated for so many years? Perhaps, but Tom also didn’t slam the door shut on continuing to play past age-45, either.
