Ticket Prices For Coach K’s Last Game Are Completely Out Of Control

Coach K is saying his final goodbye to the “Cameron Crazies” this weekend, but if you want to be let in the building, it’s going to cost an arm and a leg.

On Saturday, the legendary head coach will be on the bench for the last time at home, and fans are undoubtedly going to want to be a part of the moment.

But unfortunately, the ticket prices for the game are completely through the roof.

According to The Action Network’s Darren Rovell, ticket prices for the Duke-UNC game top the ticket prices for this past Super Bowl.

“Current average sold ticket price for Coach K’s final regular season game at Duke on @tickpick: $6,051. Average sold ticket price for Super Bowl LVI on @tickpick last month: $5,997,” Rovell tweeted.

When talking about his final hoorah earlier in the week, Coach K indicated that we won’t be seeing him in the stands at Duke games once he’s officially retired.

“I will have nothing to do with our basketball program,” Krzyzewski said, according to CBS Sports’ Matt Norlander. “This is not about me … [Things have been said] where I’m trying to maintain control. That could not be further from the truth. It was mine for 42 years, but it’s Duke’s forever.”

Coach K will be hands over the reigns to assistant coach and former Duke player, John Scheyer, next season. But perhaps he has on last title run in him before all that.
