Texans fired VP of Communications Amy Palcic, telling her she no longer was "a cultural fit", per sources. Palcic was the first and only woman to have full PR responsibilities for an NFL team. She was the winner of the 2017 Rozelle Award for best PR staff. She is widely respected

What IS a “cultural fit” if it isn’t someone who is excellent at her job, widely respected and does what is in the best interest of the team and players, while still engaging positively and professionally with the media?

What cultural fit?
I'm guessing @JackEasterby is not averse to saying things like, "the men are talking."— John P. Lopez (@LopezOnSports) November 11, 2020
The Texans are not widely respected so they’re right… she’s not a cultural fit. She’s too good for them.

This will not be a good PR day for the Texans. And deservedly so.

If only they had a good PR director.

Looks like she doesn’t lean to the Right enough for the Texans. She retweeted a video of someone making fun of the Giuliani press conference at the “Four Seasons.” https://t.co/MSEkWwq7t3

Sounds like this could have been a political thing. A “Cultural Fit” is code for we don’t like her opinions.
