For the first time since 1988, the Los Angeles Dodgers are World Series champions. The Dodgers defeated the Tampa Bay Rays in Game 6 of the Fall Classic at Globe Life Field on Tuesday night to clinch the series. It is the seventh title in franchise history.
A Former Dodgers great and his daughter were extremely happy to see the Dodgers get another Title. Steve Garvey, who played for the Dodgers from 1969 – 1982, and his daughter Olivia jumped online following the final out.
Unfortunately they couldn’t celebrate as a family but they made sure to facetime:
