Steve Garvey, Daughter Olivia Get Emotional After Dodgers Win World Series

For the first time since 1988, the Los Angeles Dodgers are World Series champions. The Dodgers defeated the Tampa Bay Rays in Game 6 of the Fall Classic at Globe Life Field on Tuesday night to clinch the series. It is the seventh title in franchise history.

A Former Dodgers great and his daughter were extremely happy to see the Dodgers get another Title. Steve Garvey, who played for the Dodgers from 1969 – 1982, and his daughter Olivia jumped online following the final out.

Unfortunately they couldn’t celebrate as a family but they made sure to facetime:

The drought is over and Clayton Kershaw’s legacy is complete, and that’s pretty cool. Congratulations to Dodgers alumni and fans.  A pretty special night for Dodgers fans everywhere.
