Social Media Reacts To Hilarious Mis-phrased Headline Talking About Josh Rosen’s Package Growing

Josh Rosen was selected 10th overall by the Arizona Cardinals in the 2018 NFL Draft, and boy it has not been easy for him.

Rosen has had a miserable NFL campaign and was recently signed by the Atlanta Falcons after their backup QB A.J. McCarron suffered a torn ACL in pre-season. Rosen is on his fourth team already in the NFL after he had a disappointing rookie campaign with the Cardinals, which lead him to be traded to Miami in the off-season. Rosen then signed with the San Francisco 49ers, but was recently cut.

Rosen may have just touched down in Atlanta this week but he was already put in to the Falcons final preseason game, where he actually didn’t play bad at all. Rosen completed 9/18 passes for 118 yards and a touchdown, which was quite nicely thrown to the back left corner of the endzone. He even added 4 rushes for 13 yards.

With that in mind, the highlight of the night may have still come from a Falcons beat-writer for his phrasing.

D. Orland Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution wrote quite the headline: “#Falcons QB Josh Rosen discussing his debut. He said the package grew during the game.”

There is nothing better than having your package grow during the game. I am sure the blood was pumping and he was feeling all sort of goodness after that TD pass.

Social media was quick to have so fun with the headline:

Again, there’s nothing better than poking a little fun at the English language and especially when it involves someone’s package growing.
