Twitter Reacts To Jon Gruden Switching From Oakland To Las Vegas Hat During Thursday Night Football

Jon Gruden might have forgotten the Raiders play in Las Vegas now. To start the game, Gruden was rocking an Oakland Raiders hat. He finally switched to the current hat for the Las Vegas Raiders.

Social media was blowing up.

I wonder if Jon Gruden was trying to give a shout out to the old Oakland Raiders, or if he was just legitimately wearing the wrong hat to start the game. I’d probably go with the former, but who knows.

Gruden and the Raiders suffered a tough blow when starting quarterback Derek Carr went down with a non-contact groin injury earlier in the game. Marcus Mariota is now in the game for the Oakland…I mean Las Vegas Raiders.

I gotta hand it to Gruden, I actually forget that the Raiders no longer play in Oakland all the time. Those Oakland fans were the best. I still thing the Raiders brand took a hit when they made the move to Las Vegas. When the Raiders were good and the psychopath Oakland fans were all-in, thats when Raider nation was at its best.

Props to Jon Gruden for throwing a little shout out to all the Oakland fans after they got their football team torn away from them. Never forget the Oakland Raiders.
