Tough day for Simone Biles and her NFL boyfriend. The Houston Texans cut safety Jonathan Owens ahead of the deadline for each team to cut their roster down to 53 players. Owens, a reserve safety who has played in eight regular season NFL games since being an undrafted free agent in 2018, is best known as the boyfriend of Olympic gymnast Simone Biles.

Last season, the Texans cut Owens on the final day of cutdowns, but ended up signing him to the practice squad. Owens ended up playing six regular season games for the Texans.
Now he’s known for being Simone Biles boyfriend who got cut.
Simone has yet to address Owens situation.
