Robert Kraft Allegedly Threw “Temper Tantrum” After Tom Brady Snubbed Patriots From Retirement Post

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft was apparently not too pleased when Tom Brady snubbed his team from the retirement post earlier in the week.

When announcing his retirement, Brady initially thanked his Bucs teammates, coaching staff, fan, etc. But he made no mention of the Patriots even though he spent nearly two decades in New England.

“I have always believed the sport of football is an “all-in” proposition – if a 100% competitive commitment isn’t there, you won’t succeed, and success is what I love so much about our game,” Tom Brady wrote as part of his post. “There is a physical, mental, and emotional challenge EVERY single day that has allowed me to maximize my highest potential. And I have tried my very best these past 22 years. There are no shortcuts to success on the field or in life. This is difficult for me to write, but here it goes: I am not going to make that competitive commitment anymore. I have loved my NFL career, and now it is time to focus my time and energy on other things that require my attention.”

According to a report, Robert Kraft was absolutely furious when he read Tom Brady’s post. He was said to be yelling and throwing a “temper tantrum” after reading the Instagram message.

“I was told earlier tonight that it was an unpleasant day today at the executive offices in Foxboro and that Robert Kraft initially when he first heard the news was very upset,” Johnson said. “He was screaming and he was yelling and there was a significant temper tantrum that he threw after he read this IG post. So, he was not happy about it in Foxboro, and I’m not surprised.”

Tom Brady is no idiot. And if he left the Patriots out of his retirement post, he did it for a reason.

While the Patriots dynasty would not have been made possible without the excellence of Brady, it ended with a sour taste in everyone’s mouths. Brady seemed to feel under-appreciated by Bill Belichick, and sought out a new opportunity to end his career elsewhere.

By all indications, Tom Brady still has great feelings towards Robert Kraft and his family. But his pettiness shined during his massive retirement announcement this week.
