Rob Gronkowski Says Chiefs Should Have Signed Super Bowl Streaker: “He Actually Scored”

Rob Gronkowski has (fittingly) been the life of the party after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers won the Super Bowl this past weekend. The larger-than-life tight end was seen at Disney World, as well as making appearances on talk shows over the past few says.

Gronkowski is making sure to soak it all up after his third Super Bowl win. According to him, he is still undecided on whether he’ll return next season or not. Gronk went on “The Late Late Show With James Corden” and was joking around when the famed Super Bowl streaker came up.

“I feel like that’s exactly what we needed to complete our night,” Gronkowski said of the streaker “Because the night was going so smooth. We were scoring, our defense was dominating, everyone was playing super well, you know, we’re up by a lot. And then all of the sudden here comes this streaker. I was on the sideline like, ‘Yes, this is what we needed.’ We’re up [and] this streaker’s amazing! It was entertainment, you know?”

Then Rob Gronkowski went on to troll the Kansas City Chiefs.

“He actually scored,” said Gronkowski. “The Chiefs didn’t. He scored, they should definitely sign him.”

Rob Gronkowski must not have been watching the streaker too closely. While the man pulled off an impressive run through security, he slid down at the one yard line like Brian Westbrook in the worst fantasy football moment of all time in 2007 (IYKYK).

I’m sure the Gronk party will continue throughout the offseason. He’s earned it.
