Paul Pierce on LeBron: “I’ve already said he’s not a top five player of all time”

The Troll Trifecta, Stephen A. Smith, Paul Pierce, and Max Kellerman took to First Take on Wednesday morning to discuss the legacy of LeBron James. Paul Pierce said “I’ve already said he’s not a top five player of all time.” That statement might lead one to believe that Paul Pierce not only hasn’t been watching basketball, but doesn’t remember his games vs. LeBron.

If you are even a casual NBA watcher, I think you would agree that Lebron is in the top 5 of all time conversation. LeBron dominated Paul Pierce in championships, regular season stats, playoff stats, season MVP’s, every category. Is Paul Pierce going to sit up there and say Michael Jordan is out of the conversation for losing three times in the first round? I think “The Truth” could be a little more truthful about “The King.”
