New York Jets Fans Celebrate Losing to the Raiders

The New York Jets are in the middle of one of the worst seasons in franchise history. There is a silver lining at play though.  The goal for the Jets is pretty much to tank the season in order to get the #1 pick. The Jets are no longer interested in Sam Darnold as their long term QB,  and they’re chomping at bit to be able to draft Trevor Lawrence.

Derek Carr's game-winning 46-yard TD pass to Henry Ruggs traveled 53.9 yards of air distance, Carr's 2nd-longest completion this season.

This means they don’t want to win a game, and the fans have embraced their losing ways. Last night after taking another L, the fans went nuts.

The Jets tried to save face by firing their defensive coordinator for the defensive gaffe. It sure felt like they were trying to lose.

Someone needs to fall on the sword. At this point they should just DQ the rest of their games, why put people in harm’s way if  you have zero intention of trying to win games.

Just wait til Lawrence decides to stay in school rather than play for the hapless Jets. Then they’ll have to lose 32 straight in order to acquire their target.
