As fans flocked to social media to shared their thoughts on where Damian Lillard could land, another report has shed some light on what Dame Dolla’s mindset might be.

It appears as though Lillard could be enamored by the resurgence of the New York Knicks.

The Knicks and Sixers are the current betting favorites to land Damian Lillard if he were to be traded. Either destination would provide Lillard with a much bigger market than Portland (even though the Blazers have a pretty cool fan base), and he’d hope to have a shot at competing for the elusive championship.

I think it’s safe to say that everyone wants to see Damian Lillard on a more championship-ready team. But if he were to win in New York, he’d be remembered as a freakin’ god.

Out of all the possible landing spots for Damian Lillard, New York just might be the coolest possibility.
