Mamba Treasure Was Apparently Another Man’s Trash: Storage Wars Pro Hits The Jackpot With Kobe Bryant Memorabilia

If you are unfamiliar with the show Storage Wars, storage units are auctioned off if the owner stops paying the bills. In this case, the person who scored the Los Angeles unit won with a bid of $375. It only took a few moments to realize the stuff inside belonged to Kobe Bryant, aka “Black Mamba”.

This bidder needs to go to Vegas now. The stuff in the Mamba storage unit if auctioned off is essentially priceless.

Here’s the breakdown of the score: 35 pairs of shoes, jerseys, Lakers practice gear, a Lakers all-access badge that says, “Mamba,” tax paperwork, and the pièce de résistance … a mink coat (we’re told there are pics of Kobe wearing the coat!). –TMZ Sports

The buyer immediately called “Storage Wars” star Rene Nezhoda, who bought all of the contents for a cool $13,000. This is where the story goes wrong for me. The Mamba stuff is virtually priceless. Why in the name God would you sell it for a measly $13,000, to Storage Wars! What the actual F was this guy thinking?! Ugh, I’m mad just writing about it.

If I stumbled upon a locker full of Mamba merch, in the year he died, there is not a snowball’s chance in hell I would sell it. Ever. Period. My Lord, this guy is going to regret it one day, if he doesn’t already. Not to mention, Sunday was Kobe’s birthday. Oh, and today is Mamba day (8/24). Alas, I digress. But this bidder is an absolute moron. That is all.
