Larsa Pippen’s boyfriend Malik Beasley has plead guilty to threats of violence charge. He was initially charged with two felonies stemming from a September incident in which Beasley allegedly pointed an assault rifle at a family that parked near his home.
Shams Charania broke the news:
Any potential jail, or home confinement, will not exceed 120 days and will be served at end of 2020-21 season, his attorneys Steven Haney and Ryan Pacyga say. Upon successful completion of probation, the threat of violence charge will be reduced to a misdemeanor. https://t.co/w8E7VhPnC9

Beasley did not physically appear in court but via video remote for Monday’s plea hearing and said:
“I’ve learned my lesson,” he told the court. “I could have retreated,” he said. “I was not in my right mind. I’m ready to move on.”
Timberwolves coach talked about possible discipline for Beasley:
#Timberwolves coach Ryan Saunders says he hasn’t heard from the NBA yet on possible discipline for Malik Beasley. Minnesota opens the season tomorrow night.

Beasley has all of a sudden become a household name, and it has nothing to do with his basketball ability.
Hard not to think his celebrity didn’t help him here.
