Brooklyn Nets point guard Kyrie Irving cannot stay out of the news. Irving recently took an unannounced hiatus from the team due to “personal reasons”. Initially, it wasn’t clear when (or if) Kyrie would be returning. Despite all the speculation, Irving has returned to Brooklyn today. He will join James Harden and Kevin Durant as Brooklyn will have a true “Big 3”.
Kyrie spoke about why he left
“I am back, I am happy to be back, we got some great pieces and we move on and I let my actions and my game speak for itself like I planned on doing,” Irving said on Tuesday per ESPN’s Malika Andrews. “I just needed a pause.”
“I have a conversation with each one of (my teammates) and we move,” Irving added.

Many reported that Kyrie Irving’s absence was tied to the Capitol Building riots, but he gave no indication of that during his presser today. I guess we’ll just never know exactly why Kyrie felt the need to leave the team.
This is what you’ll get with Kyrie Irving, the dude is just a basket case. With that being said, he is one of the most talented players we have in the NBA today, and watching him play with Harden and KD will be a show.
The Brooklyn Nets have themselves a big three…albeit a rather dramatic one.
