Kris Bryant Opens Up On The ‘Exhausting’ Trade Rumors

For a good while now, Chicago Cubs star Kris Bryant has been at the center of trade talks and rumors.

Through it all, Bryant has said and done all the right things. But it appears that his days are finally numbered in Chicago.

With the MLB Trade Deadline vastly approaching, we’re starting to see other big ticket players be traded to contending teams around the league.

Kris Bryant was asked, yet again, about the trade rumors after the Cubs’ loss to the Reds on Tuesday night. And he admitted that all the talk was taking its toll.

Even while admitting that everything was ‘exhausting’, Kris Bryant maintained his love for the Chicago Cubs. He even said he’d be more than happy returning to the Cubs in free agency this offseason, in the event that he’s traded in the coming days.

Kris Bryant is already one of the most successful players to put on a Cubs uniform, and I’m sure it’s hard for any athlete who knows that they’re likely going to be switching clubhouses very soon.

It sounds like Bryant just want to be traded so he can finally stop answering all the questions about his future on a daily basis.

The next question becomes: where will Kris Bryant land? Obviously a lot of contenders would be happy to acquire a star who is as versatile as Bryant. But right now, it appears that the Dodgers and Giants are the front-runners to land KB.

The MLB Trade Deadline is less than 72 hours away, and it’ll be intriguing to see what ends up happening with Kris Bryant.
