Khabib’s Manager Destroys Conor McGregor for IG Post: “You’re the Lowest Scum on this Earth”

Khabib Nurmagomedov’s manager called Conor McGregor “the lowest scum on this earth” after McGregor made an insensitive Instagram post about Khabib’s father.

It started when Khabib’s cousin, welterweight fighter Abubukar Nurmagomedov, trolled McGregor on Instagram by posting a picture of McGregor pinned against the cage fence gasping for air during his 2018 fight against Khabib which McGregor lost via submission.

“When it’s coronavirus and you can’t breathe,” wrote Abubakar in the caption.

McGregor responded to this troll job by implying that the UFC light heavyweight champion’s father’s diagnosis of COVID-19 in May was probably just a cover-up. McGregor wrote,

“I figured it as all just a cover up about Abdulmanap. A cover up to hide the lack of activity and the pulling out of fights and running away. Good luck but remember – Allah sees all!”

McGregor, who is apparently now retired, had every right to fire back but this wasn’t the answer. McGregor deleted his comment shortly after.

Khabib’s 56-year-old father, Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, was diagnosed with COVID-19 in May and fell seriously ill as he suffered a stroke and was placed in a medically induced coma. At the time, McGregor had nothing but well wishes for Khabib’s father.

This was probably a sarcastic comment by McGregor, but Khabib’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz, slammed McGregor with a very not sarcastic comment,

“@TheNotoriousMMA you’re the lowest scum on this earth and I really want to spit in your face. Post something on Instagram and deleting in about someone’s sick father. You’re fake you punk.”

Khabib’s father is reportedly improving, but still in intensive care.

Regardless of the bad blood, McGregor probably went too far here.
