Justin Thomas’ Caddie Had An Awesome Reaction When He Saw How Much Money He Made From Winning The Players

PGA golfer Justin Thomas took home the coveted Players Championship trophy this weekend with a come-from-behind Sunday round. Thomas rallied from being three shots back to edge out Lee Westwood for the title.

JT’s caddie, Jimmy Johnson, has been around a while, and seen some big paydays. Even so, Johnson couldn’t contain his excitement when he saw how much money he was in for after securing the Players alongside Justin Thomas.

This reaction from Jimmy Johnson was so cool. You could tell that he legitimately had no idea that he was on camera, and he even looks around to see if anyone noticed his excitement before slugging some water to cover up the whole reaction.

It was Johnson and Thomas’ first victory since JT was caught on a hot-mic using an anti-gay slur after missing a putt. Thomas talked about how his journey has been particularly difficult lately, especially given that his grandfather has also passed away recently.

“I think about him every day but thought about him this morning and then I think when I saw my dad walking up 18 — that was the first time during or since I teed off on one when I really thought about him,” said the emotional Justin Thomas after the win.

Good for Justin Thomas and Jimmy Johnson. I’m sure the duo have plenty more massive pay days coming their way in the future.
