Joy Behar Under Fire For Joke About First Active Gay NFL Player

Joy Behar is under fire! This week Las Vegas Raiders defensive end Carl Nassib became the first official active Gay player in the NFL. Many players around the league showed support, including Trailblazer Michael Sam.

While most are walking on egg shells, you know not to make light of this historic news, others aren’t being as careful. Joy Behar, one of the hosts of “The View”, made a pretty crude joke about Nassir.

“After they said penetration in the end zone, they lost me!”

Later in the show Behar apologized for having a little too much fun about the news. While the jokes probably write themselves, Behar’s wasn’t very funny.

The View is not the kind of show you go to for gay humor.

Let’s leave the jokes to the comedians, they’re the ones who should have immunity to these kind of reactions.
