Jim Harbaugh Releases Statement On Vikings Job After Agreeing To Return To Michigan

After all that, Jim Harbaugh isn’t going anywhere.

Since NFL head coaching jobs started opening up, Harbaugh has been linked to a few different jobs. And this week, it was reported that the Michigan head coach was set to leave the program to join the Minnesota Vikings.

After it was announced that, despite his long interview earlier week, Jim harbaugh would not be leaving Michigan for the Vikings job, he sent a classy message about the Vikings organization.

“I just got a text from Jim Harbaugh, returning to Michigan job after #Vikings interview: “The Wilf family and organization are first class all the way and in every way and Kwesi (Adofo-Mensah) is a shining star! The team is poised for greatness.” Classy comments from Harbaugh,” Vikings insider Chris Tomasson tweeted.

After passing up on Jim Harbaugh, it has been reported that the Vikings are zeroing in on hiring Rams OC Kevin O’Connell to be their next head coach.

And for Harbaugh, he’ll return to Michigan, for now. But somewhere down the line, I’d expect him to make his return to the NFL.

Jim Harbaugh was 44-19-1 as the head coach of the 49ers from 2011-14.
