Giants OC Jason Garrett Demands Reporters To Refer To Him As ‘Coach’ After Someone Made The Terrible Mistake Of Calling Him By His First Name

New York Giants offensive coordinator will not be disrespected by the media!

During his Training camp interview on Thursday, a reporter concluded the Garrett presser by telling the longtime coach, ” good to see you in person, Jason”.

Garrett didn’t like that.

Good to see you, Coach,” Jason Garrett quipped. “That’s how we do it around here.”

Despite Jason Garrett’s demand to the New York media, some people who cover the Giants found the ask to be a little ridiculous. And others have no intention of abiding by Garrett’s new rule.

Jason Garrett getting pissed off about someone calling him by his first name comes shortly after Jackson State head coach Deion Sanders went on a whole tirade against reporters who called him Deion instead of “coach”.

It really doesn’t seem like Garrett was kidding, and we’ll see how this demand goes over with time.

I hope the New York media doesn’t abide to Jason Garrett’s wish, and we get some fireworks over the course of the season.
