Happy Ending After All? Federal Judge Gives Robert Kraft Favorable Decision

It seems like Robert Kraft hasn’t found his way into the news much this year. After losing Tom Brady, the Patriot’s owner has had to settle for a mediocre team this season, and his team will continue to look for Brady’s replacement after Cam Newton didn’t work out.

Off the football field, Robert Kraft’s pending massage parlor lawsuit rages on. Today, a federal judge in Florida ruled in his favor that the video of his alleged illegal activity will be destroyed. According to The Associated Press, the judge deemed that Jupiter Police obtained the video unlawfully.

The South Florida Sun Sentinel revealed Kraft’s legal teams argument on why the tapes should be destroyed.

“‘Considering that the Videos never should have been created according to judicial rulings that are binding and conclusive, the Videos should be destroyed so that they can never be subject to any misuse, intentional or otherwise,’ wrote attorneys Frank A. Shepherd, William Burck and Alex Spiro.”

Robert Kraft was accused of paying for sexual acts from workers at Orchids Of Asia massage parlor. While Kraft has maintained his innocence, he also issued an apology.

“I am truly sorry. I know I have hurt and disappointed my family, my close friends, my co-workers, our fans and many others who rightfully hold me to a higher standard,” Kraft said in his statement released in 2019.

Robert Kraft will likely get off on this whole thing with a slap on the wrist. It pays to be rich.
