James Harden Lashes Out At Shaq Over Recent Comments

James Harden appears to have found a home in Brooklyn. The newest Net played his first game with the team yesterday, and he did not disappoint. Harden dropped a triple-double in his Brooklyn debut with a dominant 32 points, 14 assists, and 12 rebounds.

While Harden will try to put the Houston Rockets behind him, a lot of people remain critical for how he handled the whole situation. Harden claimed that he did “everything he could” as a member of the Rockets.

Shaquille O’Neal said that it “ain’t true” that Harden gave it his all, and went as far as saying that it would be a “bust” if Harden doesn’t win a championship with the Brooklyn Nets.

James Harden appeared to respond to Shaq on his Instagram.

“We do all of this talking about uplifting the next African American athlete/male and some of these ex-NBA players use national TV or their [sic] own social media to do the opposite,” he wrote. “I see it I just stay to myself. The real never lose! Salute to @DwayneWade for being solid.” Harden made it no secret prior to his trade that he was not happy playing for the Rockets,”
