Jack Nicklaus Puts Out A Statement In Support Of Donald Trump

Golfing legend Jack Nicklaus is all in on the MAGA train. Here was his pro-Trump tweet from earlier this evening.

“His love for America and its citizens, and putting his country first, has come through loud and clear. How he has said it has not been important to me. What has been important are his actions. Now, you have the opportunity to take action,” Nicklaus said.

The “Golden Bear” added that he “strongly recommends” people to vote for Trump.

Trump was so prod to receive this endorsement, that he even pinned the tweet.

Nicklaus is one of the most popular athletes of all time. Why would he feel the need to go out and make a statement like this? He could have just said nothing, and continued to be in everyones good graces. Now, he will have fallen out of favor with so many people.

I’m not going to lie, this ruins Nicklaus a little bit for me, too. I wasn’t around when he was dominated the world of golf, but I’ve seen his accolades. I’ve watched his incredible win at the Masters in 1986. Now, he’s just another old Trumper to me.

Nicklaus’s support for Trump will be a tough pill to swallow for a lot of people.
