J.J. Watt Gives Hilarious Response To How He Deals With Trade Rumors

Deshaun Watson is not the only disgruntled Texans player who is caught in the middle of trade rumors. On the other side of the ball, J.J. Watt has been discussed in several different trades and has reportedly played his last snap for Houston. Watt appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon recently, and he was asked how he’s dealing with reports that he’s on his way out of Houston. Watt responded by saying “I process it by going to Hawaii for a week and I probably should have stayed there.”

J.J. Watt is a three-time defensive player of the year. However, he has never been a part of a deep playoff run on the Texans. Despite having the NFL passing-yards leader, Houston finished with a disappointing 4-11 record and missed the playoffs. Watt has never been a shortwinded player when it comes to talking about his feelings. Last December, the defender called out his teammates publicly for the team’s poor performance. Later, he would apologize to Watson for the Texans wasting one of his prime years

It is unfortunate to see a player like J.J. Watt so unhappy with his situation. Watt has dealt with injury and is not the game-wrecker he once was. Having said that, he could most definitely make a strong impact on the right team. Seeing J.J. Watt in another uniform would be weird, but the star defensemen definitely needs a change of scenery at this point. Contending teams should consider adding Watt to their roster.
