Thanks to former NFL coach Hue Jackson, Art Briles is back coaching in college football.
For those who don’t know, Jackson is now the head football coach at Grambling State University. And late last week, he made the controversial decision to bring in Briles as his offensive coordinator.

Hue Jackson was immediately trashed was hiring a guy with such a checkered past in Art Briles. Also, the former Browns coach took heat for allegedly funneling money through a charity so he could further enhance his own net worth.
The Hue Jackson Foundation collected $158,000 in 2019 (the most recent tax info available). It paid out $115,000 to its sole paid employee and spent another $15,000 on travel. It looks like they gave out roughly $4,000 in grants. https://t.co/cnR5AvWuP9

So just to recap Hue Jackson damaged Brian Flores’ legitimate case against the NFL, hired Art Briles and got exposed for essentially running a fake human trafficking charity all in the same month.

The last paragraph of Hue Jackson's letter conveniently saying that we shouldn't bring up Art Briles' time at Baylor as it may re-traumatize victims is really the cherry on top here. https://t.co/w3X4JR2r4k

One thing about Hue Jackson: the man can pile up losses, even when it's not football season. https://t.co/z5x85p5BRI

Hue Jackson and Gambling State released a statement on hiring Art Briles.
“We believe that through the hiring of Coach Briles and the well-developed programs we have in place, this hire will be instrumental in teaching others the importance of knowing how to prevent victimization, proper reporting procedures, provide adequate resources to individuals who have been victimized, and develop strong law enforcement partnerships within the community,” Jackson’s statement read in part.
Hue Jackson still has not even coached his first game for Grambling State. But somehow, he’s already gotten off to another disastrous start in his new gig.
