Former Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew Doesn’t Understand How The Team Is Better Without Leonard Fournette

If you play fantasy sports or follow the NFL then you have heard the Jaguars released running back Leonard Fournette. Jaguars legend Maurice Jones-Drew says he was straight-up “shocked” to see the team cut Leonard Fournette.  He told TMZ Sports he has no idea how the move improves Jacksonville’s roster. As a MJD and Fournette fan, I completely agree. I have no idea what the Jaguars are doing. I do know one thing: Fournette will get picked up by someone. Believe you, me. I’m thinking of the Patriots.

I just don’t understand. I am 100% with Jones-Drew. How does cutting a stud running back that hasn’t really even gotten paid make the Jaguars a better team? Beats me. Like I said, however, he will get picked up. Whether it’s the Bears or the Patriots, someone will pick him up. Fournette was an absolute stud at LSU. This tweet kind of made me laugh though.

I drafted Fournette in two out of three of my fantasy leagues this year. Relatively late in the draft, too. I guess everyone else knew something that I didn’t. Having said that, I am not ready to release him from my roster yet, as the Jaguars did. I’m gonna stand by the Patriot way on this one and try to buy low on Fournette. I already did, technically, but I think you get the point. If you own Fournette in fantasy, I suggest you do the same. Trust me on this one. If you hold Fournette, it will pay off.
