Ex-Liverpool Star Alberto Moreno Took A Dig At Manchester United After Villareal’s Europa League Win

Alberto Moreno just found a way of taunting Manchester United after last night’s Europa League triumph with Villareal.

It’s always nice when you’re Liverpudlian, and you beat Manchester United. More so in an European final. You’ll never walk alone.

Villareal saw off the challenge of the Red Devils in a remarkable penalty shoot-out, and as the former Liverpool left-back celebrated his latest laurel, he recorded his reaction on Instagram screaming — “Vamos! [Go!] You’ll never walk alone! You’ll never walk alone!”

As if that was just not enough, Moreno gave another biting rendition in taunt of their opposition on the night in the dressing room.

“For all the fans of Liverpool, vamos! Man United? Get out! Get out, Man United, get out… You’ll never walk alone.

“Siempre [forever] Liverpool,” he added, tapping his chest.

David De Gea’s penalty miss was all The Yellow Submarines needed to lift their first-ever European trophy, and had Moreno living the dream on the night.

That said, Liverpool will be proud of the Spaniard who converted his own spot kick in the shoot-out, and thus played his part in ensuring they remain a title more above their bitter rivals.
