Last night we all thought we witnessed Drew Brees’ final swan song. All the signs pointed to him retiring after he lost a tough game to his fellow GOAT Tom Brady. Before the game, FOX NFL Insider Jay Glazer said that this would in fact be Brees’ final game in the Super Dome, and most likely his final game ever.

After the game, Drew Brees would not commit to retirement.
“I’m gonna give myself an opportunity to think about the season, think about a lot of things, just like I did last year, and make a decision,” Brees said when asked directly if he just played his final game.

While he didn’t come right out and say it, it does feel like this is the end of the road for Drew. But you just know with competitors like Drew, he’s always going to leave the door open a crack.
Why not play while you still can.
