Drake wants to play ball with the WNBA.
Taking to his Instagram Stories on Wednesday morning, Toronto Raptors ambassador Drake asked the WNBA when they’re planning to expand into Canada.
“@wnba I need a Toronto team,” he wrote.
There are currently only twelve teams in the WNBA, however expansion talks began this year about adding a few more cities.

Toronto was listed as one of the cities that the league is considering.
Every WNBA team is presently based in the United States. Charlotte, Houston, and Philadelphia were also listed as possible expansion cities.
If Drake wants a team, it wouldn’t surprise me if he gets one. Dude can’t own an NBA team, maybe he’ll take a consolation prize.
