Details Emerge on Carson Wentz, Doug Pederson’s Fractured Relationship

The Philadelphia Eagles and Carson Wentz have finally parted ways, as the Eagles traded the QB to the Indianapolis Colts for a few draft picks.  Now more details are coming forward about just how fractured the relationship between former Head Coach Doug Pederson and Carson Wentz’s was. According to a new report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter, he and former Eagles head coach Doug Pederson had major issues during the 2020 season.

Schefter revealed that Wentz and Pederson didn’t speak for up to 10 weeks during the season.

“This was DeShaun Watson without the headlines,” Schefter said on 975 The Fanatic. “He didn’t want to be (in Philly). He was done. Doug Pederson was a big part of it but a lot other people were apart of it.”

Amazing to see how quickly a relationship can deteriorate.

After leading the Eagles to a Super Bowl the previous year, Wentz had a terrible 2020 season.

The relationship between a coach and his QB is everything in the NFL. . .
