Deshaun Watson Reportedly Willing To Sit Out If The Texans Don’t Trade Him

The drama out of Houston continues to persist. Earlier today it was reported DeShaun Watson has officially requested a trade from the Houston Texans.  Now word is coming out that if the Texans do not grant Watson his wish, he’s going to play hardball, and sit out if necessary.  A tactic that many have employed in order to force a trade.

According to Shannon Sharpe,  Watson will not back down.

My sources have told me that Deshaun Watson has requested a trade. He requested a trade several weeks ago. He’s made it abundantly clear, I do not want to play for this organization, and what I was told he said I am willing to play hardball in order to get my way out of here.

He does not trust Cal McNair, he does not trust the front office, he doesn’t like the culture they’ve cultivated

If Watson does sit out, it’ll cost him.

The Texans have said they have no intention of trading Watson, so let the stalemate begin.

It’ll really get interesting once Watson starts bleeding money. . .
