Dan Snyder’s Lawyer Reacts To Claim That He Leaked The Jon Gruden Emails

Washington Football Team owner Dan Snyder has found himself in the news for the wrong reasons, yet again.

A former WFT cheerleader, Melanie Coburn, who has spoken out about the misogynistic practices done by the organization for years said earlier today that she believes Snyder leaked the emails implicating Jon Gruden.

The report indicated that Dan Snyder leaked the emails to make former team president Bruce Allen look like he was the only guy in the organization who was guilty of being a part of the disturbing email chain.

Later on Wednesday, Dan Snyder’s lawyer sent out a statement to slam the comments as false.

“Any suggestion by Ms. Coburn that anyone associated with the Washington Football Team was behind any leaks concerning Jon Gruden is categorically false and part of a pattern of misinformation being spread by Ms. Coburn,” Jordan Siev said in a statement issued to Fox News, via the New York Post.

Dan Snyder is no stranger to controversy. And it’s almost surprising that he hasn’t found himself in a position of being in trouble in the past. But somehow he always finds a way to clear his name when push comes to shove.

“I believe Dan Snyder leaked these emails,” Coburn told Fox News. “I believe he’s trying to put all the blame on Bruce Allen. He sent over a dozen private investigators to my colleagues’ homes across the country … to show up on cheerleaders’ doorstops and ask them what their relationship with Bruce Allen was.”

The NFL still has not named the source of their leak, and it’s unlikely that the person will be revealed any time soon.
