As we get deeper and deeper into the MLB season, the Deshaun Watson saga has gotten even more bizarre.
Despite the many allegations of sexual harassment against the star quarterback, he has not been reprimanded by the NFL or law enforcement yet. But still, Watson has not appeared in any games, and it appears that the Texans are content to pay him to sit out.
All season, we’ve heard potential trades involving Watson (mainly Miami and Philadelphia), but nothing seems to be anywhere near close to happening.

Through all the noise, Texans owner Cal McNair spoke recently on the likelihood that Deshaun Watson will be traded.
“We’ll just wait and see,” McNair said, via Aaron Wilson of SportsTalk 790. “It’s a day-to-day thing. [General manager] Nick [Caserio] is in charge of that. We’ll see how that works out.”
Cal McNair when asked about chances of trading Deshaun Watson by the Nov. 2 NFL deadline 'we'll just wait and see. It's a day to day thing. Nick is in charge of that. We'll see how that works out'

According to CBS Sports insider Jason La Canfora, the Miami Dolphins remain the most likely suitor for Deshaun Watson. But Houston’s asking price is simply to high – especially given the current unknown status of Deshaun’s future.
So for now, it looks like Deshaun Watson is stuck in Houston with no imminent plan for a move.
Perhaps that’ll change as we move closer to the deadline.
