Bucs’ TE if He Dropped Tom Brady’s Lombardi Trophy Pass: ‘I’d Have to Retire’

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers did a very Tampa thing, and held a boat parade for winning their second ever Super Bowl. By now you’ve probably seen the video, Tom took the Lombardi Trophy and hurled it to another boat. Now everyone assumed Gronk caught the Trophy, but it was the team’s other Tight End, Cameron Brate who secured the catch.

Brate said it was THE best catch of his life.

Brate said had he have dropped the pass, he’d probably have to call it a career.

Brate and Gronk were a pretty great 1-2 punch at Tight End.

Brate certainly would love to get another crack at a Lombardi reception at next year’s Boat Parade.
