Bryson DeChambeau Reportedly Refused To Play With Brooks Koepka At The U.S Open

While the Bryson DeChambeau-Brooks Koepka feud has been going on for a while in the PGA, it has magnified in recent weeks after a viral video caught Koepka rolling his eyes at the sheer sight of DeChambeau walking past him during an interview.

After some back-and-forth jabs on social media, Brooks Koepka opened up about his well-known dislike for Bryson DeChambeau, and called the rivalry “good for the game”.

With the U.S. Open going down this week, many fans are hoping for a pairing with Brooks Koepka and Bryson DeChambeau. And apparently, the PGA had the same idea.

According to a report, DeChambeau was approach about being paired with DeChambeau to kick off the U.S. Open, but he declined.

While it would be cool to see Koepka and DeChambeau taking their rivalry to Torrey Pines, I can see why Bryson wouldn’t want it. Fans have (mostly) taken Koepka’s side in the whole thing, and have even been kicked out of tournaments recently for taunting DeChambeau by calling him “Brooksy”.

While we might not be getting a Brooks Koepka-Bryson DeChambeau pairing out of the gates at the U.S. Open, maybe we’ll all be treated to them dueling it out for the trophy on Sunday.
