Brooks Koepka Has His Sights On Tiger Woods’ Major Tournament Wins

PGA star Brooks Koepka has some pretty lofty expectations for the remainder of his career, and some of his benchmarks for himself include passing Tiger Woods.

When speaking about where he sees his career going, Koepka said that he believes he’ll catch Tiger Woods’ number of major wins, and he even suggested that he can catch Jack Nicklaus for the all-time record.

“In my mind, I’m going to catch him on majors. I believe that. I don’t see any reason that can stop me. I’m 31. I have another 14 years left,” Koepka said. “If I win one a year, I got Jack. People misconstrue that as being cocky. No, that’s just my belief. If I don’t have that belief, I shouldn’t be out there. If you don’t think you can win, why the hell are you teeing it up?”

Brooks Koepka currently sits at four major wins, which is 11 behind Tiger Woods and 14 behind Jack Nicklaus.

You have to appreciate the confidence Brooks has, but to think that he’s any threat to Woods or Nicklaus in that regard is just flat out wrong.

In the end, nobody will come anywhere near Tiger Woods when we think of the best golfer of this generation. And we certainly won’t think of Brooks Koepka in the same breath.
