Brett Favre is at it again with another extremely stupid take.
The former NFL quarterback has remained relevant in his post-playing career. Favre has made it clear that he’s a Trump guy, as well as speaking out against players kneeling for the national anthem. The 51-year-old was asked on how he felt about Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson demanding a trade, and his answer didn’t disappoint.
“I’m kind of old school,” Favre said. “You get paid a ton of money to do a certain job and just do it and let the chips fall where they may. I think we make too much money to voice an opinion, but I’m not saying he’s wrong. I think it’s a different day and time, and it’ll be interesting to see how the organization handles it.”

I’m with Stephen A. here. It’s a different time than when Favre played. Players are allowed to stand up for what they believe in, and in this case, Deshaun Watson is absolutely right. The Texans have built a shitty team around him, and have disrespected his wishes time and time again. Just because you sign a contract doesn’t mean you lose your voice altogether.
Contracts get broken everyday. In fact, didn’t Favre manufacture a trade to the Jets when he was still on the Packers in 2008? The guy is a hypocrite, and I’m sick of hearing his opinions all the time.
