Bill Belichick Slammed For How He Treated Sean McDermott After The Playoff Game

Over the past two decades, we haven’t seen a Bill Belichick team get blown out in the playoffs much at all. But that was the case during last weekend’s Patriots-Bills game from freezing Buffalo.

After Belichick and the Patriots got trounced by a score of 47-17, he kept it short when congratulating Bills coach Sean McDermott at midfield.

Despite the fact that it was wholly unsurprising that Belichick wasn’t gracious with an opposing coach after a loss, he was still trashed on the web over the encounter.

I’m team Belichick here. Not only must it have sucked to lose that bad, but given that it was below 0 degrees out there, it was probably never going to be a pretty big embrace before he got the f**k outta there.

At the end of the day, we all know that Belichick is a sore loser. But perhaps it’s that mentality that makes him one of the best coaches of all-time, as well.

It’ll be interesting to see how Belichick tries to contain Sean McDermott and the Bills in the coming years. Clearly the Patriots aren’t on their level right now…
