Travis Kelce is a “Douchebag” According to Barstool’s Dave Portnoy

Barstool Sports founder and president Dave Portnoy has absolutely no filter, a fact that he made very clear once again today. Portnoy was making his regular appearance on Barstool Sports’ Pro Football show, which includes a panel of Portnoy, Deion Sanders, and other Barstool employees. As the topic of where Travis Kelce ranks among the greatest NFL tight ends came up, Portnoy let out all his hatred for the Kansas City Chiefs star player.

“Where do you rate him in douchebags,” Portnoy asked via Heavy. “He’s the worst. Have you ever watched his TV show, which sucked? Have you ever seen the way he talks? Chasing Kelce, or whatever that was called. Did you watch that, Deion?

“He’s a try-hard. He’s a fake Gronk,” Portnoy added. Portnoy would go on to admit that Travis Kelce is a very good player.

Deion Sanders was quick to support Travis Kelce after Portnoy’s rant, saying that he’s a great player on and off the field. You can watch the full exchange between Portnoy and Sanders below.

Dave Portnoy is a lifelong Patriots fan, so it makes sense that he would have a deep hatred for Travis Kelce and the Kanas City Chiefs. It’s clear Portnoy would take Gronk over Kelce any day of the week, particularly an NFL Sunday.

You gotta hand it to Dave Portnoy, though. He’s built a successful brand with Barstool, and isn’t going to change who he is anytime soon.
