Adam Thielen Will Wear Cleats To Honor Alex Trebek Tonight

Adam Thielen is ready for Monday Night Football. The Minnesota Vikings star receiver says that he is also preparing to honor the late “Jeopardy” host Alex Trebek with a unique wardrobe decision. Check out the cleats Thielen is looking to roll with for tonight’s game:

Alex Trebek passed away last week after a long battle with cancer. He was 80-years-old. A statement at the time of his death on Sunday read:

A “Jeopardy!” spokesperson told TMZ, “Jeopardy is saddened to share that Alex Trebek passed away peacefully at home early this morning, surrounded by family and friends.”

Trebek’s death was a hit to many people. Anyone who met Trebek loved him. He continued to host Jeopardy even as his stage 4 pancreatic cancer worsened. He simply loved to host the show.

Adam Thielen and the Minnesota Vikings battle the Chicago Bears for Monday Night Football, in a game that could have playoff ramifications. The Bears (5-4) and the Vikings (3-5) both remain in the hunt for a playoff spot. This year will have an expanded playoffs due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
