Cristiano Ronaldo’s Sister Posts Message to Soccer Star Following Baby’s Death

Cristiano Ronaldo is receiving an outpouring of support following his baby’s tragic passing.

The Manchester United and Portugal player revealed on Monday that he and partner Georgina Rodriguez had delivered a healthy baby girl, but sadly lost her twin brother in birth.

Ronaldo wrote: “It is with our deepest sadness that we announce the passing of our baby boy. It’s the greatest pain any parent can feel. Only the birth of our baby girl gives us the strength to live this moment with some hope and happiness.

“We would like to thank the doctors and nurses for all their expert care and support. We are all devastated at this loss and we kindly ask for privacy at this very difficult time.

Ronaldo’s sister also sent the Soccer star a message. She posted a heartfelt message of support to her brother after the tragic loss of his infant son.

Katia wrote:

“I love you and my heart is all there on this side. May God take care of everything and strengthen your path more and more.

“Our little angel is already in our father’s lap, and our little girl who is here firm and strong and full of health will teach us more and more that only love matters.”

Staff at United and friends of the couple rallied around the soccer star and Georgina in the aftermath of the announcement.
