Jaguars Reportedly Trying To Trade #1 Pick Ahead of NFL Draft

It’s NFL Draft day!

Jacksonville Jaguars are reportedly attempting to trade away the #1 overall pick hours before the NFL draft. According to Pro Football Talk, no team is currently interested in trading up for the #1 pick.

Via PFT:

The Jaguars declared last week that they’ve narrowed their field of potential No. 1 overall picks to four. As a practical matter, this means that they can move down to No. 4 and still get one of the guys on their list.

Per a league source, the Jaguars are still hoping that they can find a path out of the top pick. However, they continue to find no takers.

Jaguars GM Trent Baalke revealed last week that he’s had zero calls about trading for the #1 pick:

For now it appears that the #1 pick will either be Georgia’s Travon Walker or Michigan’s Aidan Hutchinson.

Not the sexiest of drafts this year, and you know that by the fact the Jags are trying to trade their pick.

We’ll see how it plays out.
