Cause of Death of Baltimore Ravens Pass Rusher Jaylon Ferguson Revealed

An autopsy of Baltimore Ravens pass rusher Jaylon Ferguson has revealed the cause of death.

A spokesperson for the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore says Jaylon Ferguson died from the combined effects of fentanyl and cocaine.

It’s been ruled  an accidental death.

In a statement to TMZ Sports, a spokesperson for the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore, Maryland added the death was ruled an accident.

No further details were made available.

As we reported, Ferguson was found unresponsive at a Baltimore residence on June 21 and, according to cops, never regained consciousness. He was pronounced dead by medics on the scene.

Baltimore Ravens pass rusher Jaylon Ferguson died last month due to “the combined effects of fentanyl and cocaine,” officials announced on Friday.”

At the time the  Ravens posted a message about Ferguson:

In a statement Friday morning, the Baltimore Ravens said:

“Our priority is focused on the man Jaylon was and the positive impact he made on so many as a father, son, fiancé, friend and teammate. It would be inappropriate for us to comment further while we continue to support his family and teammates, who are mourning the tragic loss of a loved one and will celebrate his life tomorrow.”

Jaylon was a 3rd round draft  pick by the  Ravens in the  2019 NFL Draft.

He played in 38 total games for the team the last three seasons, tallying 4.5 sacks and 67 tackles.

Jaylen was only 26  years  old. R.I.P.
